If you thought Nandsundaris were beautiful enough, well, put your hearts together because we're launching hand-painted Gond art Nandsundaris now!
Nandsundari sarees are handloom sarees woven by the weavers of Delhi. These sarees are made under the #jhinichadariyainitiative where weavers of this dying cluster were given a new product to keep their weaving skills alive.
After several deliberations and overcoming several problems, we have come up with wearable and low maintenance comfort wear sarees.
No two sarees are similar as our weavers play with the colored yarns at their disposal.
The sarees do not come with blouse pieces. Wear them with any shirt, top or blouse from your existing wardrobe as these sarees provide you scope for experiment with the drape and style.
Gond art is a form of painting from folk and tribal art that is practiced by one of the largest tribes in India – the Gond – who are predominantly from Madhya Pradesh but also can be found in pockets of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhatisgarh, and Odisha. These sarees are painted by artists from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
Each saree is uniquely designed and originally painted, so there's only this one piece that exists. It's time to get creative with your wardrobe.
