Gond Hand Painted Saree 005

This is a traditional design that tribals make on their 'chaukhat. At the entrance of ther houses they make this typical design when we have got re-created on a South cotton handloom saree. There's Warp ikat on the borders and weft ikat on the palla. All the motifs painted on this saree are traditional motifs that are drawn on the walls of the tribal houses.
